Our book club has been running for 10 years and what started as members sharing reviews online has evolved into monthly online discussion groups where members swap views and opinions on a chosen book.
Authors discussed this year have included Victoria Hislop, Christy Lefteri, Douglas Stuart, Amy Liptrot, Amor Towles, Kristin Hannah, Antoine Laurain and Winifred Holtby.
Each member of the group has at least two choices of book per year, so it keeps the choice of reading fresh and draws from a much wider range of authors.
We also hold two social book group lunches a year, one in Summer and one in Winter.
Currently the two Zoom book groups meet once a month: one on a Wednesday afternoon at 4pm and the other on a Thursday morning at 10am.
